Description

I created a TED-style prerecorded talk for a conference on social work management, considering the implications of remote and hybrid work for social work and human service managers. I argued that widespread adoption of remote work would have long-term effects on how social work organizations would need to consider their operations, including client services and managing staffing. I encouraged managers to not return to previous defaulting of in-person work as always necessary or preferable and to consider how widespread use of new technologies could offer opportunities to approach work differently.
